BlogEngage and the Beauty of a Real Community for Bloggers
Very few people understand how to cultivate community the way Brian, the mastermind behind BlogEngage, a closed Pligg-based social sharing community with a singular mission…
Blog Engage allows you to submit your Blog Article(s) that will be placed in queue and promoted by our members to the front page. The ideal of Blog Engage is to promote interaction between bloggers by “Engaging” with each others blogs. Interaction that builds up quality comments and interactive discussions.
Yes, it sounds like Digg, but it has a significant upper hand – real community. And I speak from experience. I’ve been a part of the BlogEngage community for quite some time and while the traffic boost from promoted articles is nice, it’s the relationships I value most.
BlogEngage is feature-rich with social networking options, groups, a voting system, forums, and its own blog. Additionally, it’s a closed-system, open only to those who are allowed to join, thus increasing the value of the relationships formed there, and once you’re in, there are rules…
Rule #1: You must vote for the three times the amount of articles you submit.
Rule #2: Remove your blog or website names from the story titles when submitting to the website.
Rule #3: You must add the blog engage image to participate within our community.
It’s a community for bloggers that encourages highlighting great comment. Users are encouraged to talk about what they’re doing openly, especially when it’s valuable to the community at large.
There are plenty of other places to connect with fellow bloggers, share resources, and sharpen one another, but BlogEngage is doing quite a few things right. Check them out today.

Hello Brandon,
Amazing write about our community I couldn’t have done it better myself. I love the way things are working out within our community Brandon and we have members like yourself tot hank for that.
I’m amazed how fast two years went by but one thing I’m really impressed with is how I’ve managed t Brand our website name! People know us as a community of friendship and real bloggers.
It’s because time and time again we have great people such as your self spreading the positive message. Blog Engage will change the blogsoshere even if it’s with one blogger at a time.
We are creating a positive environment to market and promote which is what we all need but on the same note we create an environment for learning, commenting and engaging with bloggers.
Thanks for everything Brandon I really mean it I won’t forget ya!
No problem Brian, and keep up all the great work!
Wow! Thanks for the heads up! This is exciting!
No problem Christopher!
I’m constantly visiting Blog Engage to see what’s new. The community was already superb, but now that it’s by invitation only it gives us members a little extra clout. Thanks for bragging about our little corner of the blogosphere.
@Ileane
No problem at all.
Seriously though Brian is the mastermind behind BlogEngage,
not
“Brain, the mastermind behind BlogEngage,”
although definitely has the brains to make it so.
Haha, I appreciate the catch – will correct!
