Five Possible Blog Post Templates to Follow

Before you read any further, hear this: templates can kill your blog! What I mean is, if you find a simple formula to follow and never infuse personality and variety into your posts, your blog is going to stagnate. It can be, however, helpful to have a few frameworks to keep in mind to both simplify things as well as to remind you of some of the essential elements of an effective post. Here are five possible templates to have in your arsenal.

The Narrative Template

  3. Multiple Paragraphs of a Single, Flowing Thought

The Well-Structured Template

  1. Title
  2. Proposition / Thesis
  3. Introduction / Hook
  4. Transitional Statement
  5. Major Points with Elaborations
  6. Conclusion and Wrap-up
  7. Call to Action
