Google+ … A Facebook Killer?

googleThere’s been a lot of speculation over the long-awaited secret social network Google’s been working on over the past few years — probably even more so due to the growing desire for an alternative to Facebook, the launch of other social services, and the overall secrecy of the project. But after much debate and long await, Google finally announced their secret social project last week.

It’s called Google+ … Real life sharing, rethought for the web.

I recently wrote about another launch from Google called Google +1, and expressed concern for the launch due to the lack of any social experience with the service, but I’m wondering if Google+ is the missing link needed to make it all work.

Though it might be late to the social network boom and Google doesn’t have the best track record of product launches, the hardworking team at Google has introduced a few new features for us to enjoy during our social experience online. Watch the video for their tour, and post your comments below.
