Thanks Robert. Everyone has their own driving forces that makes them want to achieve bigger and better things for themselves. The key is finding those action steps to make it happen.

You are completely right about letting people go. It can be a hard thing to do...but sometimes it is necessary for all involved parties.

Robb,

Really good article. Don't want to spill the 'ol guts so to speak, but while reading this I, possibly like others who will read this, had 'that one person' pop I to mind. It is a solemn thought that you cannot in the end help anyone, especially if they for what ever reason don't seem to want help. I personally believe that only God can change the heart of a person, but regardless of all the things that humans seem to be able to do in cold blood, it is in our human nature to care about people.

On the other side, I've had to learn that you can't neglect yourself for the sake of others. Sometimes if you care about someone you have to let them go, for them but also for yourself. I've decided this year to live. Through quiet times of prayer I've come to realize that I was on the verge of falling into a trap many, many people fall into.

I was starting to focus so much on tomorrow, that I was not living today.
