LinkedIn Just Got Even Better for Bloggers
Yesterday, Johnathan Brill shared about 5 steps to promoting your company’s blog through LinkedIn and overnight, LinkedIn made sharing much, much better.
Now you can share links, add images, delete your links, and re-share what you like in your stream. They’re also allowing the option between public and private sharing (I’m reminiscing to some recent Facebook headlines). You can also add shared items to your profile.
Also, shared links will sport a new shortened url: lnkd.in. Here’s a video posted on the LinkedIn blog today:

I been posting my posts to Linkd stream thru Ping for mnths, and recently thru Groups and the groups have been awesome.. Should did this 10 mnths ago lol

Is there a way to post a discussion or status to all of your groups at once?
Looks like it’s time to get back on Linkedin… I quit for a while because I wasn’t getting the results I wanted but I will for-sure start being active again now that they’ve FINALLY added these features.

I have not used linked in for months, just added my blog links. Will have to try it to see if it works. But I don’t know if it is as good as twitter or stumbleupon
I do think it ranks in the top five or so as far as long term benefits, but not the greatest immediate traffic generator.
I’ve been wondering if this would be effective way for me to use Linkedin.
I’m done wondering, I just added a few relevant links to the groups that I participate in, and I noticed no one had started a group in a niche I’m part of, so I created one.
It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out.
