Why So Serious?
Blogging has dramatically evolved since it’s inception in the late 90s, growing from an underground activity only the brave few did to something some of the largest brands in the world, including People Magazine, Ben & Jerry’s, and Yahoo!, now spend time and money doing.
When first starting your blog, it’s pretty important to connect with the first group before the second, because it will enable you to explore the medium, try out your ideas, and ultimately develop your voice and style as a blogger.
Leapfrogging this critical stage in the beginning will prevent you front finding your true voice, which is what attracts people to blogs in the first place.
As you build your blog, remember to have fun and explore.
